Crunched for time? Consider this fast-to-fix chicken and rice bake from Doris Barb of El Dorado, Kansas. After popping it in the oven, you can toss together a salad and have dinner on the table in no time.
We like this one. The rice is cooked in pineapple juice. A very good beginning. And then its added to a wok-full of tofu, mushrooms, soy sauce, green onions and carrots. Garnish with crushed pineapple and strips of cooked egg. Yumm!
One of our family's all-time favorites. Make it as spicy or mild as you please. It is hearty on a cold winter's night. If you are cooking for a crowd, this recipe can easily be doubled. Be sure to serve this with cornbread!
Pork chops are browned, then combined in the slow cooker with brown and white rice, onions, mushrooms, peas, and water chestnuts, in a flavorful sauce of beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and onion soup mix.
