The original recipe was made by my nana for years and years. Then my mom made it for me growing up, and now I make these waffles myself (but with a couple of healthy changes) They still taste just as good as the did when I was a kid. We serve them sometimes for breakfast, but in our family waffles have almost always been served for dinner. When you can't think of anything else to make.
Don't count out the grown-ups when it comes to craving these golden-brown waffles flavored with peanut butter and just a sprinkling of cinnamon. These are guaranteed crowd pleasers! —Helena Georgette Mann, Sacramento, California
I love making breakfast, but with our busy schedules, I don’t get to make it as often as I’d like. It’s impossible on the weekdays, so I usually try to on the weekends. I typically make us pancakes, or waffles a long with scrambled eggs and turkey bacon.
