600 g of braising beef (cut into chunks and all visible fat removed)
1 tablespoon of cornstarch / flour (3.5 syns)
1 teaspoon of sesame oil (approx 2 syns, different brands may vary)
1 onion, roughly chopped
4 spring onions, chopped
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 red chilli, finely chopped
1 green pepper, roughly chopped
200 g of mushrooms, sliced
approx 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger
4-5 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
1/4 cup of light soy sauce
3 tablespoons of rice vinegar
1/2 cup of water
1 teaspoon of sugar (1 syn) or you can use sweetener
