Knowledgebase - What is the group feature, and how does it work?


In your shopping list, can create groups of shopping items that are easy to add all at one time by clicking the + icon that appears when you mouse over an item in your grocery list. You can also divide your groups into items you definitely need and items that you may have (pantry items) and that you may just need to check.



One way to use groups is by adding shopping items to a recipe, so when that recipe name is added to your shopping list it automatically pulls all the items you need to get and check for that item. Or you can add a group of items directly in your shopping list, so whenever you type that group name it will bring up what you need for that item.  For example you could add an item “sandwiches” that would have the items you should get like lunchmeat, cheese, bread, etc.
