Ingredients
2 sticks butter
3 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

1. Cream butter and sugar, then add cheese and cream ingredients again. Add remaining ingredients and mix.
2. Shape into rolls and wrap in plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator until well chilled.
3. Slice into 1/4 inch slices and bake at 400 degrees until they start to brown around the edges. Check at 8 minutes. They can be baked on parchment paper.

These cookies can also be frozen for later use.
