Chicken Fried Steak

2 cube/round steaks
1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg, beaten.
1 cup bread crumbs
3-4 Tbsp Oil (for frying)

Place one cube/round steak on a piece of plastic wrap. Cover with another piece of plastic wrap and using a meat mallet pound until it is 1/4" thick - this also helps to tenderize the steak. Repeat with other steak.
Dip steaks in flour mixed with salt and pepper, being sure to coat each side. Then dip in egg, coating each side as well. Next, coat in bread crumbs.
Fry in a medium to medium-high pan in oil. Flip after about 8 minutes, and cook on second side for 6 minutes.
