Chili Rubbed Sirloin Steak
Meat, American
1 tsp Garlic Powder
2 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Cumin
1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika

1- 8 oz steak
4 tsp Olive Oil, divided

Mix spices together in a small bowl.
Trim excess fat from steak. Rub in 2 tsp olive oil over each side of the steak. Sprinkle each side with half of the spices and rub in (rub in one side before sprinkling the spices on the other side.)
Place on a cookie sheet or double broiler pan. Broil about 4 inches from heat at about 450 degrees (or on high if you can't set the broiler temp) for 5 min on each side if you want Medium-Rare or about 8-10 minutes on each side for Well Done.
Remove from oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes (helps seal in juices.) Slice on angle at desired thickness.
